Incy supports login via password or SSO (Single Sign-on). Incy doesn't have capability to do MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) via TOTP (Time-based One-time Password), SMS or Security Key. We have decided not to implement MFA login because SSO can be used to handle user authentication in a better way.

Reasons why we think using SSO is better solution than MFA:

  1. With SSO the user doesn't need to do MFA separately to all the applications they use, but the same authentication can be used by separate SSO applications.

  2. With SSO the customer can enable and configure MFA to be as strict as they require.

  3. SSO allows centralized user management (IT department can add and remove access rights to the incy)
